First of all Eric, tell our readers about the history, background and ownership of ZTI Logistics?

Thank you for having me.

ZENITH (Tianjin) International (ZTI) Logistics Co., Ltd. was established at the beginning of 2026. The company is the result of my long-term commitment to the logistics industry in Tianjin. I first joined Asia Imperial Cargo Logistics in 2005 and established their Tianjin branch in 2008. After accumulating extensive experience and a solid team, I founded ZTI Logistics to build a more specialized and comprehensive platform. We are a privately-owned company with a strong focus on providing end-to-end, customized logistics solutions.

You are established in Tianjin, which I understand is the port city nearest to Beijing. Are you able to arrange inland transport via Tianjin/Xingang to inland destinations in China? Do you have this kind of experience?

Absolutely. Our headquarters is in Tianjin, and we leverage the strategic advantage of Tianjin Port as the largest comprehensive port in Northern China. We have extensive experience arranging inland transport from Tianjin/Xingang to all major inland destinations across China and CIS countries. Our services cover inland trucking, barge, and rail coordination for door-to-door deliveries. We have successfully managed many complex projects cargo movements from/to the port directly to/from the customer’s worksite or warehouse.

Can you provide our readers with some examples of shipments you have handled?

Certainly. Our portfolio is quite diverse. Currently, we handle approximately 20,000 revenue tons of breakbulk cargo monthly. About 70% of this is steel products. The remaining 30% covers a wide range of heavy-lift and project cargo, including machinery, vehicles, yachts and transformers.

We have also managed many FCL/LCL and air freight shipments, providing full supply chain visibility from factory to destination.

What is your strong point in ZTI Logistics? I am asking because there are so many freight forwarders in China.

That is a very fair question. Our strongest points are specialization and execution.

First, we have deep expertise in project logistics and breakbulk. Our team and I have 20+ years of experience in this niche. We don’t just move goods; we provide engineered solutions for complex cargo, including route surveys, lashing plans, and heavy-lift coordination.

Secondly, we are not just a forwarder; we are also a shareholder in a Chinese shipowner. This gives us unique access to three regular liner services (China to Middle East, China to India, and China to West Africa), ensuring competitive pricing and reliable space.

Finally, our service is genuinely end-to-end. We handle everything from the initial customs clearance and inland trucking to port operations and final delivery, all with a strong focus on risk control and compliance.

Which markets around the world are you mainly dealing with? Do you currently belong to any international networks?

Our primary markets are Southeast Asia, Europe, Middle East, India, and North America, driven by our basic steel cargo. We also handle extensive shipments to Africa and South America. While we are members of the CLC project network, we rely on our long-standing relationships with reliable partners worldwide. Our strength is our direct control over the key routes we operate and our ability to manage the most complex parts of the logistics chain ourselves.

How do you view the market for the rest of 2026? How is the Chinese economy doing for the moment, and do you feel that there are a lot of inquiries?

The market for 2026 is showing resilience. The Chinese economy, while facing some global headwinds, is stable and continues to be a major engine for global manufacturing and trade, especially in machinery, energy, and infrastructure. We are seeing a healthy flow of inquiries, particularly from the infrastructure and construction sectors for project cargo. But compared with last year, it’s a little decreased. Companies are looking for partners who can deliver, not just promise. We are optimistic for the rest of the year as we see steady demand in infrastructure and construction sectors.

Tell our readers a little about your own background. When did you choose a career in logistics?

I have been in the logistics industry for over 20 years. I chose this career path because I have always been fascinated by the challenge of global supply chains—how a product made in one part of the world can be safely and efficiently delivered to another. I started my career in a local company in 2005, set up their Tianjin branch 3 years later, then continued to study and improve myself during the following 18 years. Now, I am leading my own company. This journey has given me a deep understanding of both the operational complexities on the ground and the strategic needs of our clients.
